Cayman Interseries | BRUMOS 59

You may have never heard of a racing series called Cayman Interseries before. Actually, we stumbled upon it by chance. The Cayman Interseries is a racing series in which several Porsche Cayman, clad in historic Porsche racing liveries, race on various tracks in the USA. We (initially a bunch of German and Swiss modelers) decided to build a fleet of these racecars in 1:24 scale, the finish line will be the Frankfurt model show in November 2010. The Fujimi Cayman is the base model kit. Mike from ScaleProduction made up some parts we need for the racecars. A limited production run of these parts is available for everybody, so you can build your favourite racing Caymant too. Decals will need to be custom made or adopted from other model kits.

BRUMOS 59

I decided to build the Brumos car number 59 and used a yellow Fujimi Porsche Cayman kit to avoid bleed-through from the red plastic of the other version.
