When I was a kid, the Audi V8 was the ultimate version of my Dads’ humble 5-cylinder Type 44, especially in DTM race livery, lowered over gold BBS wheels. In the same time period, Audi collaborated with Porsche to build the Audi RS2, who everybody knows and cherishes. I recently thought what would have happened if they gave they would have applied the same recipe to the Audi V8 (4C)? Porsche 964 mirrors, front indicators and (enlarged diameter) Porsche 928 wheels. Darker trim instead of bright chrome, a healthy dose of lowering and front lip to reduce lift at high speeds. Done. Feast your eyes on what could have been a great car to cover distance quickly on the Autobahn.
