Yes, this generation Cadillac Seville and Eldorado have been front wheel drive cars unfortunately. And yes, I have always loved the exterior and interior design of the Seville because of the sleek and almost European style. An elegant and low-slung body with great proportions made this generation a timeless design. However, due to the quality of the materials used by GM at the time, they soon looked rather old and tatty. Prices dropped dramatically in the seconf hand market, which attracted buyers not always equipped with the necessary funds to maintain such vehicles properly. In 2019, there are virtually no good examples left in the market, at least in Europe. But just imagine finding one that was with its first owner since new, properly maintained by a Cadillac dealership and well cared for. You could buy this once expensive car for peanuts and spend the remaining budget on a set of custom tailored wheels and a custom-made airride suspension. There are no coilover kits for these cars available, so don’t bother looking. Within the constraints of a very tight budget, probably less than € 10k, you could have a proper showcar nobody else has on the radar. I would love to rock this sled!
