Sport Van with TE37 Wheels

Back in 2009 we met a couple at the French coast with a brand new Ford Transit Sport. Being totally unaware of such a thing actually being sold by German Ford dealers, I was keen to check it out and have been fascinated with it ever since. I do like the 18″ wheels, but am not really that fond of the design. The body kit is nice, but there is always room for improvement. For this photoshop, I started out with a base model, added a set of wide 19″ Rays Engineering TE37 in 6-lug configuration. To keep the utilitarian look, my set of custom designed overfenders match the material and colour of the stock bumpers. The bumpers have been modified to transition smoothly into the overfenders. Being used to transport a wildwater kayak, more ground clearance is needed to access many places and therefore it makes sense to install an air-ride system.
