Shibuya Crossing at Night
We arrived at the world famous Shibuya crossing, locked our bikes and (thanks to a top secret info) immediately went upstairs to see it from above. I’m not going to disclose it here, but if you’re interested you can of course ask me how to get up there. Looking down at the not-so-busy crossing, I realized that I had just made a childhood dream come true. Ever since seeing a picture of this intersection for the first time, I wanted to go there and see it with my own eyes. Tired eyes at this time of the night, but very happy ones.
We desperately needed something to give us enough energy for the long ride home, so we crossed diagonally and bought a Green Tea Chai Latte at the Starbucks across the road. Sitting down to sip it seemed like a great idea, but getting up once finished and moving on proved to be a challenge. A slow walk around the block was cut short by the wish to finally ride home and let me tell you: it was a long journey and… uphill all the way. We returned the bikes, walked to the tiny house and fell into bed like stones.
