Night Train

Getting to the train station required a rather long taxi ride and we’ve been nervous if we’d make it there in time. The night train leaves exactly on time, not delayed like most trains in Germany. We still had to pick-up our train tickets at a travel agency opposite the station and buy some supplies. Once settled in, we relaxed and enjoyed the view out of windows until we got past the city limits and dinner was served.

Having been exhausted from spending not only one but a couple of days and nights in Bangkok, we slept well and awoke to the most beautiful sunrise as the staff called for breakfast. Not much later, we arrived in Nong Khai.
